A sign of demonic activity surrounding your house and family intent on stealing your peace, Jn. 10:10
A warning, i.E.
A sneaky, cunning person who may be disguised as moral, but they walk in spiritual darkness
Intrusion – either on a physical or material level – is intrinsic to the idea of a burglar. Spiritually, there is a violation of our sacred space.
Psychological / emotional perspective: A part of our psyche may have been neglected and left to fend for itself. It then intrudes on our awareness seeking attention.
Material aspects: When we become aware of a burglar or intruder in our dreams we are experiencing some form of unwelcome attention. This may be from external sources or from our own inner fears and difficult emotions.
Gives gender - specific: Since traditionally a burglar is perceived to be masculine, in a woman’s dream he may represent the wayward antisocial aspect of the men around her. In a man’s dream, a burglar is more likely to represent his need to control his own sense of impropriety.
To dream of seeing or being a burglar is an indication that you are losing your stamina. It can also mean that worries and angst are making it difficult for you to deny others.
Vision: In a woman’s dream, a burglar shows what she wants to “steal” from life—maybe a few romantic adventures? Maybe a few hours of relaxation? The dream is an indication vou want to get something on the sly, something you can’t get openly. Are you doing this often? Handing a burglar over to the police: you might win in court or get a reward for something. See Thief.
Depth Psychology: The burglar is a shadowy figure threatening your emotional health. Do vou have a bad conscience? Are you afraid (particularly if you are a woman) of sexual intercourse? Do you have secret desires for a sexual adventure?
The need to get something on the sly. Greed (you are “breaking into” yourself). You can’t trust people around you. Somebody is violating the dreamer’s boundaries—emotionally or physically (another person is breaking in). Something new is coming, and there is fear of loss (as in Thrush) through changes. What has the burglar taken from you.7
If you dream of your home, locker or possessions being burglarized, your reputation will be attacked, but if you stand up for yourself things will work out fine. Accidents may happen to the careless after this dream.
Beware of treachery among those you trust.
1. An inner aspect of self.
2. Feelings of invasion, lack of safety.
3. A feeling of troubles, even treachery, afoot.
4. A preoccupation with material things.
If you dream of being burglarized, you will need courage to surmount many difficulties in daily life. These are dreams of fear.
To women it has a sexual meaning, that of forced intrusion, which is symbolized by the armed robber.
